Enabling Healthier Plant-Based Diets

In a plant-based diet, proportionately more foods are chosen from plant sources like whole grains. Plant-based diets have shown many health benefits including better digestive health, leaner body mass and reducing chronic conditions like heart disease and Type 2 diabetes. In addition, plant-based diets place much less stress on the environment. Research shows that replacing animal-based diets with plant-based has significant positive impacts on energy conservation, land use, greenhouse gas emissions, water conservation and pollutant reduction.

Girls with Game Initiative

Ball Park® Buns is a long-standing partner and the Official Hot Dog and Hamburger Bun of the Little League® World Series. Ball Park is expanding its support to the Girls with Game softball initiative.

Today, the Little League® softball program has more than 25,000 softball teams and approximately 3000,000 participants (ages 4-16) in more than 25 countries. Since the launch of the Girls with Game initiative in 2018, Little League® softball has seen a growth of 8% in participation and is a key focus as part of the League's female inclusion efforts.
